Bill Hayes and I decided sometime in 2008 to go racing in 2009. In June of '09 we had our first race with WERA.

Travis Richards, Bill Hayes, Ian Coleman, and Garry Owen, joined together to form Jolly Roger Endurance to
contest the 2011 WERA National Endurance Series. JRE, owned by Travis, was a spin-off of the original Jolly
Roger Racing Team of Bill and Garry.

For 2012 Garry, Peter Hupperich, Ian, and Bill formed the Jolly Roger Racing endurance team owned by JRR co-founder Garry
Owen. Joe Melendez joined us for the last two rounds.
